Call for Papers The ITAC 09 organising committee invites the submission of presentations for the 3rd Annual Information Technology in Aged Care Conference to be held 21 and 22 May 2009 at the Hilton Sydney. The theme of the conference, Sustaining Quality Through eCare, emphasises the importance of information technology in establishing a sustainable, quality focused aged care environment. The conference will bring together local and international experts across the fields of community care, medication management, assistive technologies and offsite information systems delivery. These critical aged care topics will be discussed from a practical perspective, highlighting the information we need to know now to better manage and design aged care service delivery. If you are an aged care service provider or systems vendor, we are seeking presentations from you that will educate the ITAC 09 delegates on the key issues within these information streams. Conference Objectives and Streams ITAC 09 aims to provide something for everyone, from basic hints and techniques workshops for the reluctant user through to presentations and discussion panels from expert speakers and presenters dealing with the broader business and strategic issues facing an industry grappling with the uptake of technology. Submission Process
The conference Organising Committee is seeking presentations relating to the conference themes from both industry and academic aged care experts. Presentations should be for a 30 minute session, including 5 minutes for questions. Authors are requested to provide an abstract of their presentation by 16 February 2009. Abstracts can be submitted online by clicking on the button below Abstracts will be reviewed by the Organising Committee and presenters will be notified of their acceptance by 2 March 2009. In some cases, the Organising Committee may request a review of the complete presentation to ensure the extent of the educational content and its alignment with the themes of the conference. In this situation, a submission of the final presentation will be required by 30 March 2009. Important Deadlines
